About the Role
Cipla is hiring a skilled and motivated Production Manager to join our pharmaceutical manufacturing team in Rabat, Morocco. The ideal candidate
will ensure smooth and efficient production operations while maintaining strict
compliance with Good Manufacturing
Practices (GMP) and Health, Safety,
and Environment (HSE) standards. This position requires a balance of
leadership, quality control, and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities Production
Manager
1. Management & Coordination
·
Supervise
and guide production supervisors and operators to achieve departmental goals.
·
Plan
and monitor production schedules to meet company deadlines.
·
Collaborate
effectively with departments such as Maintenance, Quality, and Warehouse.
·
Implement
and track Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) plans to improve processes.
2. Production & Process Control
·
Oversee
the manufacturing and packaging of aerosol dosage forms in line with GMP
standards.
·
Review
and approve production documents including SOPs, batch records, and logbooks.
·
Participate
in equipment qualification and process validation.
·
Suggest
and implement technical improvements to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
3. Quality Assurance & Compliance
·
Ensure
all production activities comply with GMP and company quality standards.
·
Perform
in-process checks including weight, crimp parameters, and product consistency.
·
Coordinate
with the Quality Control team for testing and sample analysis.
·
Track
quality metrics such as non-conformities, out-of-specification (OOS) cases, and
lead times.
4. Equipment Maintenance &
Logistics
·
Ensure
production machinery is properly maintained and ready for use as per the production
plan.
·
Maintain
cleanliness, organization, and functionality of production areas.
·
Work
closely with the Maintenance department for timely equipment servicing.
·
Oversee
the storage and flow of raw materials, packaging components, and finished goods
in coordination with the Warehouse team.
5. Team Development & Training
·
Train,
mentor, and support supervisors and production staff for skill enhancement.
·
Promote
a strong culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
·
Set
clear performance objectives and foster teamwork and accountability.
Required Qualifications &
Experience
- Bachelor’s
or Master’s Degree in Pharmacy.
- 2 to 5
years of hands-on experience in pharmaceutical production or manufacturing.
- Strong understanding
of regulatory compliance, GMP, and process improvement principles.
- Excellent
leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
