Abbott’s market-leading Chronic Pain Therapies.
Key Responsibilities
As a Clinical Specialist, you will be the bridge
between our innovative technology and the patients who need it. Your daily
impact will include:

Clinical &
Technical Support: Provide expert programming and case support in
clinical settings, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Sales Partnership: Work closely with Territory Managers to identify growth
opportunities, streamline the sales process, and increase product adoption.

Education &
Training: Conduct professional in-services, training
sessions, and educational workshops for medical staff regarding the proper use
of implantable devices.
·
Relationship
Management: Build and maintain high-trust relationships with
key opinion leaders, surgeons, and support teams within your assigned
geography.

Strategic Growth: Monitor competitor activity and market trends to help refine
sales strategies for capital equipment and therapy solutions.

Operational
Excellence: Maintain compliance with all FDA regulations and
internal company policies while managing a flexible schedule that often
includes operating room support.
What You Bring to the Team
We are looking for a proactive problem solver with a
strong clinical foundation and a passion for patient care.
·
Education: Associates Degree or technical certification (Bachelor’s
Degree preferred).
·
Experience: 1–2 years of experience, ideally with direct patient
interaction in a clinical or hospital setting.

Technical Proficiency: Ability to interpret and communicate complex clinical data,
specifically within the Chronic Pain or spinal cord stimulation (SCS) space.
·
Soft Skills: Exceptional time management, organizational skills, and the
ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
·
Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to present to
large groups and engage effectively with medical professionals.
·
Flexibility: Must be comfortable with a variable schedule that may
require adjustments based on surgical calendars, including a 25% travel
requirement.
Preferred Qualifications
·
Background in Physical Therapy, Nursing (RN/LPN), or
previous experience in medical device sales.
·
Prior experience with implantable medical devices or
SCS therapy is highly valued.
