As a key member of a global specialist group, you will provide strategic legal guidance on complex regulatory matters. Your mission is to help the organization balance commercial growth with rigorous compliance, specifically focusing on the emerging frameworks governing third-party technology providers in the financial sector.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will act as a bridge between legal theory and operational reality. Your daily impact will include:

- Compliance Framework Design: Leading the development and rollout of policies that align with major regulations like the EU Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) and the UK Critical Third Party (CTP) regime.

- Strategic Advisory: Serving as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, translating complex regulatory requirements into actionable business strategies.

- Regulatory Liaison: Managing and shaping our relationships with financial regulators, including preparation for audits, oversight activities, and formal responses.

- Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating legal risks within new service models, marketing initiatives, and high-stakes transactional activities.

- Contract Negotiation: Providing legal oversight for non-standard technology agreements, including cloud services and professional licensing, to ensure regulatory alignment.

Candidate Profile: Who You Are

We are looking for a proactive, solution-oriented lawyer who thrives in fast-paced environments. The ideal candidate possesses:

Professional Qualifications

- Legal Expertise: 8–10 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) at a top-tier law firm or within a sophisticated in-house legal department.

- Industry Knowledge: Deep familiarity with the technology sector and the specific regulatory burdens placed on financial service providers.

- Regulatory Mastery: Proven experience with DORA, UK CTP, and general financial supervision frameworks.

- Implementation Track Record: Direct experience building and scaling compliance frameworks across large organizations.

Core Competencies

- Adaptability: The ability to pivot between high-level strategy and granular detail.

- Communication: Exceptional drafting and verbal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

- Commercial Mindset: A focus on enabling business objectives while maintaining a commitment to legal integrity.

Why Join This Team?

As a senior contributor, you won't just be following rules—you’ll be helping to write the playbook for how a global tech leader navigates a new era of financial oversight. You will work alongside a collaborative, high-energy team of legal professionals dedicated to innovation and excellence.
